During my induction year at Eaglecrest High School, I participated in two programs they have in place for new teachers. One is the S.T.A.R. mentor program while the other is a school support system for first year teachers. The S.T.A.R. Induction program is the Cherry Creek Schools District's implementation of the state induction requirements. While attending college at the University of Northern Colorado, I received honors awards for outstanding work in individual courses and departmental awards as well. I also received recognition for participating in the university's Research Day. These awards and certificates show that I am always striving to do my best and am willing to follow through with tasks set before me.
